Brenda Vroon
Executive DIRECTOR
Brenda grew up swimming competitively in Marietta, Georgia, and has been teaching and coaching since she was a teenager. She earned a degree in Health and Physical Education from Auburn University and previously taught P.E. at Scales and Lipscomb elementary schools in Brentwood. Brenda has also served as head swim coach for Brentwood Middle and High Schools and the Wildwood Gators.
Brenda holds a coaching certification from Special Olympics Tennessee and adapted-aquatics teaching certifications from Swim Angelfish (Levels 1–3) and the Starfish Aquatics Institute. She is also certified in Adult Learn-to-Swim through U.S. Masters Swimming and by the United States Swim Association. In addition, Brenda is an Autism Swim Approved Instructor and an Instructor Trainer through the Starfish Aquatics Institute.
Before joining the Nashville Dolphins full-time, Brenda served the organization for many years as a volunteer and Lead Instructor. She is married and the proud mother of three boys.
